Booking conditions

English translation. This page mirrors the German Buchungsbedingungen, version 28 August 2026. The German text is the authoritative legal version.

Contracting party

The booking is made exclusively with Rita Bouça de Almeida, sole trader and owner of the trading name Married on Tape, Tarnowitzer Str. 3, 81929 Munich, Germany. Phone: +49 1525 5953014; email: [email protected].

Non-binding date check

The initial selection checks the requested wedding date and availability. It can be changed or abandoned at any time before the binding paid order.

Binding booking and payment

If equipment is available and no personal shipping review is shown, the customer can review the final order summary and submit a binding order using “Place binding order & pay”. Married on Tape accepts the offer once payment succeeds and confirms the contract electronically. The summary and confirmation record the package, wedding date, total, payment status, estimated arrival window and return deadline.

If equipment is unavailable or personal review is required, especially for international shipping, only a non-binding enquiry without payment is stored. After approval, Married on Tape may send an individual offer with a payment link. The offer is accepted only when payment succeeds and is then confirmed electronically.

For standard bookings delivered in Germany, outbound and return shipping are included in the displayed total. Additional international costs are disclosed before payment. Stripe may offer card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Date-specific service

Equipment and service capacity are reserved for the agreed event date and service period. Under section 312g(2)(9) BGB, there is no statutory right of withdrawal for date-specific services related to leisure activities, insofar as the statutory requirements are met for the specific booking. No waiver is requested. If the exception does not apply, any existing withdrawal right and mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Service and handover

The booking confirmation defines the hired camcorders, accessories, shipping, production, editing and delivery of the film and raw material. Guest-made footage depends on the recordings actually created; Married on Tape cannot guarantee complete coverage of particular situations or people.

The camera box is expected to arrive four to seven calendar days before the wedding. Camcorders and accessories must be returned in full and handed to DHL no later than the end of the third calendar day after the wedding. A DHL acceptance scan or receipt establishes timely handover.

Earlier availability or a later return selected before payment costs €30.00 per additional calendar day and supplied camcorder. The added period and total price are shown before payment; the booking confirmation records the agreed arrival window and return date.

For an attributable late handover, flat-rate usage compensation of €30.00 per camcorder applies for each started additional calendar day. The customer may prove that no or materially lower loss arose. Married on Tape must prove any higher statutory claim and credits the flat amount against it. A disputed case is reviewed manually.

Contractual cancellation request

A justified special cancellation request can be sent to [email protected] with name, booking reference and event date. It is not a statutory withdrawal and does not automatically cancel or refund a booking. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies in an individual case, it may be exercised without giving reasons through any legally permitted contact method.

The terms and conditions and the individual booking confirmation also apply.
